OUR PRODUCT PHILOSOPHY

NATURAL PRODUCTS

Our products are handmade in small batches with love, care and attention on Gate Farm in Nantwich, Cheshire. We choose natural oils, butters and waxes, along with synthetic preservatives where necessary to keep you safe, and use organic where we can. All are cruelty-free, never tested on animals and vegan where possible.

We believe that our homes should contain beautiful, natural products that enhance our health and our wellbeing. To make our range, we carefully craft blends of pure botanical oils, essential oils and other active ingredients to create products that smell amazing.

We believe that buying natural products is the best way to go when it comes to Skincare and Home Fragrance – for your home, your skin, for your animals and the environment. But what does it really mean to buy natural products?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SHOP NATURAL?

Keeping things natural remains at the core of what we do and the products we produce. We believe that it is just as important to buy natural Home Fragrance and Skincare as it is to buy natural and organic food. After all, we use these products directly on our skin and in our homes, around our friends, families and animals.

When you buy natural, what you get is products that are, put simply, imperfectly perfect. Because each product is handmade from pure ingredients, each product is unique and individual in its own way.

A good way of understanding this would be to think about how you shop for food. When you buy fruits and vegetables from the farmers market, they come in all different shapes and sizes. Small coconuts, big coconuts, funny-shaped coconuts – we celebrate these different shapes and sizes because we know it means nature has done its job!

Next time you spot a slight imperfection in a natural, homemade product, think ‘imperfectly perfect’ and remember what that means – it’s time to embrace uniqueness and appreciate that product has been lovingly handmade with pure ingredients.

NATURAL DIFFERENCES

We are often asked why the colour of our Reed Diffusers differ by scent. Put simply, this shows that they are natural. The base ingredient for each of our Reed Diffusers is pure essential oil. The colour of each reed diffuser is directly representative of the colour of the essential oils that fill it – and in turn, the plant those oils were originally derived from.

Essential oils are extracted from flowers, plants and roots through a natural process called steam distillation. This process allows the oils to capture authentic properties directly from the plant – their colour, scent, and therapeutic properties. We use large quantities of these essential oils in every bottle to provide you with well-deserved, pure aromatherapy bliss!

This concept also relates to different seasons. Sometimes people ask why the same diffuser they bought six months ago has a slightly different colour now. Nope, we haven’t changed the recipe! A slight colour change is typical for essential oils and other plant-based ingredients, depending on the season.
