I found Valentte's website while searching online for Christmas presents in the November lockdown, read their reviews and thought I would try their products. I bought some items as Christmas presents. They came beautifully packaged and they all smelled divine. I have just place my third order, which in itself speaks volumes.

I would have rated Valentte's Geranium and Ylang Ylang Hand and Body Lotion as "very good", but that was not an option, and in my opinion it was not "perfect", therefore I rated it as "good". The positives are: i) the scent is divine, just the right amount of geranium and ylang ylang oils, not overpowering ii) it is very nourishing (I found it great for dry hands). The negatives are: i) it is very thick ii) can be difficult to get it out of the pump bottle iii) I found when used it alone as a body lotion it's thickness meant it dragged across the skin. However, as I love the scent and the moisturising qualities of this product I have been mixing it 50/50 with a plain shea butter lotion and voila - a perfect body lotion (for me).

I have found the Jasmine and Rosewood diffusers very disappointing: so subtle that the scent is barely discernible. I bought several, and found that they don’t even have an impact in smaller rooms. I’d recommend that you choose a different scent.

I have tried so many lotions potions and creams to make my hands feel nourished and healthy. Working in a school I am repeatedly washing and sanitizing them. Well, here it is. The Valentte range checks all my boxes. I use the hand wash every day and the scrub twice a week, followed by the hand cream during the day and the shea butter in the evening. The mistake I made when first using these quality products was that I didn’t realise, a little goes a very long way. I highly recommend ALL the Valentte products as I am yet to find one I do not like.

I would have welcomed an instruction leaflet because I had the question of how many reeds minimum could be used as I have several different scents to share and I didn't know that you were recommended to turn the reeds in the diffuser randomly. The scent there at present is very poignant a bit over rated. Few other scents to try but I am going to need to purchase reeds from elsewhere incase the mixture of scents spoil the best of both.
