A dream becomes a Reality
Valentte is the definition of a dream becoming a reality. I can recall the exact moment Justina came up with the idea. We were on a long drive to see my father in France. I remember Justina telling me all about a soap shop she used to love in Lithuania – her eyes lit up as she told me about it. She expressed how she would like to have her own soap shop one day, and I was sold by her excitement and enthusiasm. It didn’t take long for me to become emotionally invested in her idea.
I encouraged her to pursue her dream and used my experience of running a previous business to help her. This very quickly became a dream that both of us wanted to pursue. Of course, we had very little, if any, prior knowledge about soap or how to run a business and very little money. But we did have ambition and determination.
We taught ourselves everything from scratch. This meant a lot of Google searches, YouTube tutorials and a lot of learning from our mistakes. We got there in the end, but it took a lot of patience and perseverance!
